The quote, “happiness is an inside job” is absolutely true. We choose how we let situations, decisions, and circumstances affect us. You can choose to look at the downside of everything, or you can choose to be happy because happiness is a choice…it’s your choice!
Unfortunately, many of us choose to dwell on things that aren’t going well, the problems in our lives, or the things we don’t have. We do this despite the fact that each and every one of us have SOOOOOOOOO much to be grateful for.
- So, how happy are you?
- Do you consciously choose to be happy, or do you focus on the negative?
If you have a difficult time choosing to be happy, I’m going to let you in on a little secret.
What if I told you there is a way to be happier right away…no matter what? You would most likely want to know the answer, right?
Well, here it is…
Studies have concluded that the expression of gratitude can significantly improve our level of happiness! If you want to be happier, start being grateful for everything that you have…it’s that simple!
Be grateful for the people in your life, the clothes you have, the food in your refrigerator, your dog, your bike, your spouse…the list can go on and on! Just be thankful for everything!
Be thankful for what you have in your life, not what you don’t have!
Things don’t always work out how you plan, and that ok! Just don’t dwell on it! Be thankful for the times that things did your way.

Start being grateful for everything in your life. Even better, do what they did in the video and call someone important to you just to tell them that you are thankful for them. You’ll be happier because of it!
