Several years ago, I started having terrible pains in my abdomen and in my chest. It was a pretty scary feeling, but it wasn’t until I started having dizzy spells that I became really worried.
I wasn’t sure what was wrong with me. I went to the hospital thinking that something was terribly wrong.
As it turns out, I was just stressed out…big time. At the time, I had some pretty big things going on in life that were stressing me out, but I wasn’t dealing with the stress properly. Instead, I was eating fast food all the time, never worked out, and was drinking too much pop and beer. To top it all off, I was overweight and had high blood pressure. I felt terrible.
I knew that I needed a change so I started eating better, started working out, and stopped drinking beer. I cut out all the junk food and quit drinking pop as well.
I also tried to find some effective ways to deal with my stress. I began reading as many books as I could about self improvement. I also started praying and meditating more often. These changes made a huge difference in my health and overall happiness.
Since then I have lost a good 35 pounds and no longer have any of the aches and pains I had before. I am happier and healthier…life is good!
It can be easy to become overwhelmed at times. Stress can get ahold of us and can cause some major issues in our lives, which is why it’s important to find ways to deal with stress.
